There are 220 dumb ass U.S. representatives who need to be tossed out of office in 2010. These morons voted to pass this piece of junk healthcare bill that will help destroy this country. I hope all who voted for these idiots are happy they may have helped to end our county as we know it and if anybody does not believe our country could end up a weak nation controlled by countries like China, Russia and nations who hate us – you are stupid.

I was going through the blogs and it dawned on me what cowards left wing bloggers are. At Left on Lanier this blogger talks a game with no face. I guess he/she/it is afraid of who they are as a liberal. I challenge this individual to an open debate anywhere at anytime. However if he/she/it is not willing to tell who they are on a blog, they will not show up in public.

So Obama spends how much taxpayers money flying to Denmark to sell Chicago as the place to hold the 2016 Summer Olympics and Chicago is elimintaed in the first round!!! I love it. Obama only thinks he is loved by the world. I hope the reality check felt like a nuke up his whazoo, because that is what the world thinks of us and Obama is not the savior he thinks he is. I wonder if the American people can get a refund of the money he spent on this stunt. Well I guess the kick in the teeth was enough repayment for me.

Obama is not only the savior of the economy and socialized medicine, but now the Summer Olympics in, drum roll please, you guessed it, Chicago!!!!!! I guess he is not worried that Iran has announced they have a missile that, “can reach Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as well as US bases in the Gulf”. Wow US bases. Is that not national defense. If I were President of the United States, I would be off to one of those bases explaining to the Iranian President that the United States does not need to test missiles, because ours can reach Iran from anywher in the world and if the fire any missile outside their boarders, well . . . this may explain my thoughts.

Happy New Years to all!!

 

There is a lot to talk about.

 

First, I received my letter yesterday about the sewer rates.  So that means the word is getting out.  I keep harping about this to hall I see and talk to because as I always say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.  There are some rumblings the sewer rate is getting some commissioners to think twice about, but I will not rest until the January 8.  We need to keep the pressure up and have a strong show of force January 8 at 5:00 PM at the Georgia Mountain Center in Gainesville.

 

Lastly.  I stumbled across the Lake Superior State’s 2009 list of banished words, something they do annually, and I think the missed a few words that should have been added.

 

Change.

Change we can believe in.

Yes we can.

Obamania.

 

And then we can start a list of new words we better get used to with the new incoming president.

 

Socialism.

Higher taxes.

Welfare state.

 

Just my thoughts.

Well the hot topic is Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is arested.  Wow what state is Obama from?  Illinois!!!  You can read the transcript of the enditment and see how many times the word Pesident Elect is used.  Do not worry, I did the work for you.  44 times!!  I guess the new president elect gets to start off with an investigation.  Is this CHANGE WE  CAN BELIEVE IN?

Please do not tell me it is actually October.  I guess my parents were right when they told me the older you get the faster time flies bye.

 

LOCAL

Yesterday’s council meeting was a great step forward for Flowery Branch.

 

First, I would like to congratulate Harold Kerkhoff, Jim Herold, Mark Zupsic, Chad Hammock, and Thomas Collins who were either appointed or reappointed to the Flowery Branch Development Authority.  This is a volenteer appointment which will have an impact on the future development of Flowery Branch.

 

The council approved a TAD agreement with Hall County which will help us improve infrastructure for certain development projects in the TAD district to also help develop Flowery Branch.

 

We also approved a new engineer firm who will redesign the intersection near Stonebridge Village and Holland Dam Road near the new Hapton Inn to add sidewalks and allow better a turning radius.

A new book is scheduled to debute January 20, 2009, the day the next Preident of the United States is inauguated, “The Breaktrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama”.  Guess who the author is?  Gwen Ifill!  Who is she?  The moderator of tonight’s Vice Presidential debate.  I guess she is impartial as a moderator – right!!!!!
